    Default Weezy F Baby

From what I've seen around people either love Lil Wayne or hate him, personally I think he's one of the best rappers around right now. He's extremely versatile, every song he jumps on he makes his own..

    Favorite tracks of his:
    Got Money
    Beat Without Bass
    A Millie
    Mike Tyson Flow
    S on my Chest.

I've made my own Lil Wayne mixtapes too, i'll post them on here if anyone asks..

I don't understand why do people like him? The stuff he says are just stupid babble. Well that's my opinion.

Urg..Personally I hate him. I know its a matter of taste or even opinion if you actually call him one of the best rappers out there. Many would frown upon that, and many would sadly agree. Personally, He's far from the best out there. Its like he wants to reach the level of hova, but comes off half assed and plain stupid to listed to. To me, his songs got no real depth and meaning to it. Sometimes he just toss words in there and make a nice beat so people can rock to it, and dont really give any regards to whats he's actually saying. But hey, he's better then Mims and soldier boy, I'll give him that^

    I dunno..
What other artists do you listen to Joey (inside the Hiphop genre?)

^ Like you said, its a matter of taste. I personally listen to mostly southern rap (lil wayne, dem franchise boys, gillie the kid, david banner), and southern raps all about crazy beats with some cool metaphors strung over them, and to that, Lil wayne's are always the most creative and really just fun to listen to.

Never heard of them ^^'' The only ones I know from the south are Petey Pablo, and Paul wall. I think I mainly listen to NYC rappers like 2Pac, Big, Queens rappers like Nas, Mobb deep, but only mobbs early work, their new stuff is terrible. KRS-ONE offcause. Cormega, Harlem Immortal ^^ For a very new rapper, he's quite good. He does get repetitive alot with the same subjects, though his lyrics still stay amazing!

Well....Never. The real Hiphop from the early 80's 90's is being forgotten imo, because of mainsteam hiphop. But, I pary to the veterans like IceCube and a whole other long list of good artist to keep doin music. Once they stop, I stop listening.

well there's still artists like K'naan and lupe fiasco who still rap with a meaning behind their words. I do miss the old raps of the 80s and 90s. Back then rapping was a way to speak out against society.

    Overrated, uninspiring, irritating.

I wouldn't go so far as to call the man complete trash (because he isn't) but I'd rather listen to stale air than one of his singles.
In order to 'acknowledge' the 'irony' I would have to learn two new words today.

    ...

...And I'm not going to do that.
