Thread: Korn, Evolution-deevolution

I was watching TV and when I was looking for something interesting to watch (SO DAMM HARD IN THIS DAYS), I pass MTV and saw KORN, so I took my time and watched the video.

man I think that video is so right about the path mankind is taking.

average High IQ family children is 1.5
Average Low IQ family children is 3 or 4 O_O

Also no one with a half working brain would put money before food, after all money is just paper with ink and you can't eat that.

Everyone should know that money is worthless paper, and doesn't worth anything, the real value of money is given by the people... IE if we are alone in an island and you have $2,000 dollars, and I have 2 Fishes, 6 Bananas, and 3 Bottles of water, with one of us is richer?

Ofcourse, you will try to BUY some of my food, to with I will anwser no, or sell you a fish for $500 dollars, but since you will want the food anyway, I will have to kill you for avoid your silly attems of killing me.

in my book, the strongest and smartest is the one that haves the odds at his favor.

Have a Strong mind and a Strong body, and you will overcome your problems in an easier and faster way.

do we rate the music in here? I think that video deserves a 9/10 for their imagination and social care, and 7/10 for the music in the video

That video is hilarious and awesome. I totally dig it. I'd give it 10/10 cause they definitely went out of their way to set it up with all the fake video public service announcements of devolution for it.
I can't really judge the music because it sounds like Korn. Very much so like Korn. Korn does Korn pretty well. However, I haven't been a fan of Korn since their first few albums, so it doesn't really excite me much.

But really I don't quite understand where you are going with the choosing money before food. I mean only an idiot would take a sandwich over 1000 dollars. On a dessert island the sandwich is a better choice, yes. However, we don't live on a dessert island. I wish we did though cause that would be delicious, and the edible. Damn I'm devolving already. Anyway, currency is really just a convenient pact to value various services within a society. Sure it doesn't have a gold standard anymore, but that doesn't really matter, because everyone is forced to abide by the same pact (Cept the government which makes it, and their *cry* failures making me spend so much dollars to buy stuff in Europe).

Fortunately evolution takes centuries at least while the idea that as luxury and science increase, the genetically inferior (oh but who are we to judge?) end up being able to survive to procreate, its a vastly slow process which wont affect us yet. It wasn't so long that the majority of children were dieing even in the U.S. (Or even in the glorious nation of Khazakistan). And I certainly for one could care less about my descendants centuries from now possibly being slightly statistically stupider. Also that doesn't account for improvements in medicine allowing people to find out about genetic defects before the child is even old enough to be conscious.

Oh and last thing. Do you really think its a better world where the strongest and smartest survive? Its a pretty awesome world if you are the strongest and the smartest. But it kind of sucks if you are just strong, or just smart. Or like the rest of us and just sort of mediocre on both accords. Its actually an interesting choice really, equality and mediocrity, or tyrants and superiority. A so-called superior person might use power better, but how long can he maintain it sanely when so many others are vying for power. Monarchy solves it by ending the struggle of all people in favor of a few select people of a blood line, but you can get an idiot for a king. Democracy gives everyone some say, but you end up with a choice from the mediocre majority instead of the best informed or brightest. There is something to be said for equality though, in a world of strength and smarts, a woman is at a distinctive disadvantage in the world of pure strength. Give her a gun, martial arts training, or someone to protect her and suddenly she doesn't need to live in fear of steroid induced monsters (I can't imagine why evolution didn't make them all body builders in physique, shameful evolution, shameful). Besides its a good thing that we don't live a society of the Ayn Randian uber-menschen, I've played Bioshock so I know how that works out.
