Thread: You had your chance, but...

I've been listenin to this song nonstop lately. Like 20 times yesterday. So it made me wonder, how often do YOU listen to a song when you listen to it and when do you get tired of it?

The only song I can never get tired to is carry on my wayward son by Kansas. I'm not sure but I think I've said this in a thread before...

I get bored of listening to songs I liked very much after about 400 plays. Had about 800 plays of my favorite song ever.

How in the hell do you keep track of 800 plays much less 400? Must be an estimate...

plus an additional 60 hours of listening to "The Martyr" on my mp3 player.
-> ~1000 plays of that song. (I even made a lower estimate)
I never use music as my main activity. I just listen to music the whole day while doing other things.
Or well, a better way of describing it would be that music is running the whole day, but I just listen to it when I got nothing to do at the main activity at the moment.

I know the tracks played on my computer in cause of last.fm and since I was 60 hours running around with my mp3 player that week and the track is ~5:50 long -> 3600/6 = 600 Tracks from mp3 player + 451 from last.fm -> 1051

Wooow... you listen to music all day long? I usually listen to music when I'm online or I take my mp3 player when I walk.

I listen to music while I work, work out, or taking a nap, so I get a lot of plays also, but I can't keep track of them. I know I've listened to Carry on my Wayward son at least over 1500 times.

How can you not know that song??? That's like not knowing that the sun is hot, or that America can kill any other nation in the world at its whim(fear our wrath).
