Ok... I don't know a few of those names. I don't see how Eminem got so big though since he first rapped about random nonesense. He sucked when he came out.

    Canibus

His lyrics in his first album aren't supposed to ba taken so seriously, But well..the reasons why he became so big..
    1. He's white (he actually openly admitted it in one of his songs, sayin that he would not be so big if he was black)
    2. Even though some of his succes got to do him bein white, is that his lyrically performance is some of the best out there..(well..before he made his Eminem show/Encore..)

but if you think he sucks...that your opinion..

I don't think he sucks, I just don't see how he got so big in the first place since his rhymes were stupid but if you say so. What about John Cena? ^.^

japanese hip hop? you serious? I've heard some and I did not like.

I dont mind the language if I dont understand it. I listen to hip hop in all kinds of languages not just American.

    Hip Hop isn't dead.

It's only dead on the raido.
Stuff on the raido nowadays is whack(in a bad way).

I mean, the lyrics mostly focus on how rich, or how many hoes they got. Always showing off. They think record sales make them the dopest; that's weak.

I got mad respect for the artists Raszagal posted tho, cause they focus on making real music, because they don't make the music to get money. They express themselfs in thier music. To show other people who they are. Now that's hip hop.

As for japanese hip hop, the only diffrence i see is the way they produce thier beats. But if you think about it, if your japanese and listen to a japanese person rap, it would be the same as being american listening to like, 2pac.

You can't compare 2Pac to a Japanese rapper, or any other rapper either. Hes on his own level high above everyone else.
