Holy shit! I found a new Rap song that I actually like, and it is by a mainstream artist, from the south (Which I hate with a passion). I'm confused I'm not sure if this can be classified as rap though because he doesn't mention his hoes or his rims once.

The chopped and screwed versions are pretty nice too. Look for them on youtube.

Time for me to go and find the sample used in the chorus, no luck on it so far.

On another note while searching google for the sampled song song, I have some across message boards where complete retards are saying that he isn't saying anything in the lyrics, and that this shit is whack, he needs to get crunk.

Screw it I changed my mind, rap isn't dead; humanity is.

Actually I think the chopped and screwed versions are better.

Lil Wayne is one of the few mainstream artists I actually like. He's got a really good flow; he makes shit FUN.

And yeah; everyone on that other list is amazing. You should check out some of MF Doom's other alter egos; he's put out albums under the names Viktor Vaughn and King Geedorah, among a few others. They're pretty nice.

And I hope that guy who asked who J Dilla was was joking. We all miss him.

One flaw with that quote is, hip hop now a days has no soul. Just go read 50cents latest stunt. He said he would not make any more solo albums if kanye west sold more than he did. Thats soul right there~

"Hip hop's not dead, it's really the mind of the emcee" - EMCEE Murdah

Yeah...nowadays hiphop artist are pretty arogant and full of them selves..Its hard to find a artist being true..but I think people like K-os, Nas, Wu tang are some of the best out there..just to name a few

    Don't forget Common.

I'd like to die with the songs I love stuck in my head. I hope to make the most of these hollow bones we become.
I raise a toast to the the souls that sang all along. I've been gathering friends to just to make some sounds,
before the ship goes down, I've been making amends by making the rounds before the whole world ends
