    Default Music and Manga

What manga are you currently reading and what band or type of music you like to listen to while reading it?

Manga seems dull and dry without music, so I always to listen to music while reading them.

For example: I'm listening to Dream Theater while reading Berserk, because hearing Portney and Petrucci solos make Gatts an even more ass-kicking dude...

haha ook you don't have to be this detail, just have fun and be creative!

Wow, I do that all the time. XD

When I was reading Berserk, I was listening to High and Mighty Color's Enrai ~Tooku ni Aru Akari song. Yeah, for all 32 volumes. The combination of the fast screaming-rapping and Maakii's melodic voice somehow seemed to fit the battles for me.

And Fruits Basket... Ayu's cover of Yuming's Haru yo, Koi. Beautiful song.

Also, whenever I read the newest chapter of D.Gray-Man, I listen to a new song. ^^;; It's usually something fast - a Shimatani Hitomi dance song, or some rock song...

Uh... sure, all the time. I don't listen to anything in particular, i just press play and that's it (it's set in random), 3013 songs are enough to read plenty of manga <_<
If i don't want to hear to a song that was randomized i just press next.

Edit: Nice name by the way... haha
    Greetings earthlings.

as long as my laptop is on and i am not watching a video, i am listening to some songs
So of course there will usually be some songs (random) when i read mangas ^^ (with an exception for berserk, for which I usually listen to the berserk songs (osts of the anime + game + ...), and some calm and cool musics for Vagabond)

...Actually, some scenes in Berserk would work well with Ayu songs. It's kind of weird to mix the Queen of J-pop and Berserk, but the tone of her songs is definitely unique. If I didn't love the Haikara song so much, I'd do the same. ^_^

I listen to anime themes while reading the manga, too - like Nana themes from the movie and anime when reading Nana. (Although a favourite is Yuna Ito's song Journey from the b-side of her Endless Story single. ^_^ For Nana.)

Yeah, Dream Theater is great for violent mangas

I usually listen to anything while reading. Right now, I'm reading Vagabond and Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, and I have to say Wolfmother goes great with Vagabond (They actually have a song named Vagabond that fits the manga perfectly)

Dj Krush Stepping Stone's Lyricism I'm loving for violent manga. Looking around for more hip hop for this type of thing b/c it gives me an edge.

The Future Sound of London's Dead Cities and Aphex Twin's I Care Because You Do for epics.

Anything from Underworld and Dj Shadow for the rest.
