Anyone know any good emo bands? Like actually emo bands, not like Three Days Grace - Pain...but like Senses Fail, and Mae [damn posers]

The fact that they are "emo" necessarily means that they cannot be good. You just made an oxymoron. Its like saying melodious rap, or jumbo shrimp, pretty ugly, etc.

You would fall into a similar conundrum if you said "heterosexual emo bands."

i listen to rock music, but not alot, i'm not a rock type listener like that.
Actually when it comes to Rock music in general i'm a noob.
i'm confused tho, since when is "emo rock" music good? i'm a noob at rock music so just asking...

Well, i find it to be a bit of a plague...

The term itself is EMOtion ._. , so to show feelings they say. Wich is... stupid since rock itself has a feeling. Emo was like created for "sad" feelings.
It's mostly for depressed teenagers, you know...
"nobody cares for me"
"i hate myself and want to die" (yet they don't kill themselves)
"noone loves me"
And more crap of that nature. I think it is "suposed" to be artistic, but for me it's just shit. It's existance alone is annoying.

Luckily i barely know emo's, just a girl and in every entry of her flog she'll always write what a shitty day it was, that she wished to go back to when things were pretty and nice and flowers rained down the sky and Santa Claus would bring her candy bars.
