Anybody listen to this still thriving genre of music? What's youre favorite classic rock bands or songs?

The best over all for me are The Doors, Led Zepplin, The Who, Foghat, The Beatles, Boston, Deep Purple, Rush, and Yes

I like AC/DC and Aerosmith... have a song or two by Joan Jett... do they count?

I'm not sure who Joan Jett is... If they were from the 70s or 80s then yes.

David Bowie, Queen, The Doors, The Rolling Stones, U2, Guns 'n' Roses, Def Leppard are my favourites, not sure if all count <_<

The Beatles, they're timeless.
Velvet Underground, The Stooges, Iggy Pop, The New York Dolls, just too much to list. A bit nostalgic, but the music in the past is definitely better than today's music.

The Beatles have more hits songs than any of todays bands put together.

Yeah, anything from 60's, 70's or 80's (hell, count Nirvana too). Those are all great bands

I have no idea, I just like exagerating great things.

If by hit, you mean good. Then yeah, they do have more hit songs than most of the bands on mtv.
