    First off I'd add Immortal Technique to Steal's list.

    Akon sucks, plus he needs to get rid of that horrible squeaky voice, dam i hate that guy with a passion...and usher is only okay. >_>

    @Phatshady912- stop listening to mainstream.

    Akon's got a nice voice. It's just those fucking Alvin and the chipmunks he seems to be having an affair with that make his music tough to listen to.

    Yeah, most mainstream hip hop's all gone to shit. There's still some great underground stuff, and semi-underground stuff too. I tend to listen more to whiteboy skater rap, which is what a lot of the more underground, or semi-underground, stuff is. Lupe Fiasco, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, the Roots, Jurassic 5, MF Doom... plenty more. Gym Class Heroes were pretty amazing on their older stuff, but they've gotten a bit pussy on their more recent stuff.

    You guys need more m-flo. Sure, they're Avex whores, but their "loves" collection is a good way to find artists of all genres. So what if you can't understand what they're saying - it's proof that not all Japanese music is techno.
