As everybody knows the RIAA are a bunch of complete idiots who do nothing but fuck over those that actually buy music through the process of DRM and other tactics that don't in any way stop pirates. So, the internet community has finally had enough of the bullshit and decided to do something about it. Hopefully if the record labels realize that people won't put up with strong arm tactics and general insanity they will pull support from the RIAA.
I saw this article when it premiered on Shoutwire, Its a nice thought but there are too many twats out there craving the next from Ashley Parker Angel (what a fucking gay ass name) to care that their dollars are feeding an evil empire that stifles creativity and shits on artists...
btw where have you been Valleyman? aint seen you in a while :(
True, the masses will probably continue to buy albums and not care but hopefully enough people will support the boycott that it at least gets noticed. I think that if I can go through the pain of not buying albums for a month than many should have no problem doing so.
As to my personal whereabout I have been around but just mostly lurking. The forum hasn't seemed the same for awhile, though we do still have the craziness of AKofC.
