Thread: Kimura Kaera

OK, so I reckon I've gotta start trying to listen to some Japanese music. This woman's latest album has just come out amidst alot of publicity and fanfare, called "Scratch".

Has anybody heard it? Or does anyone know where I can download it to check it out? (If I like it, of course, I'll buy it. Cos I'm a good boy)

I haven't - but it did stay at #1 for repeated weeks on Oricon, despite all odds. Of course, you can probably find a link somewhere on my favourite J-pop forums =P. Kimura Kaela has her own thread in the Other Artists forum. ^_^

Absolutely not. And this is in JAPAN. Not like pedo is unheard of.

I've boycotted that band so far on mere principle, and will continue to do so until they shut down their kiddy porn ring. I know they have one.

It obviously must be successful seeing how many albums they've sold. I haven't heard much by them... I liked the songs I've listened to, but I didn't find it special. Apparently, the lyrics are what matter.

And I don't care how popular they are, I don't support pedo music. Except Michael Jackson.

Eh... well, Ayu does have some cat-like appearances (ie: Duty album cover), but in my opinion, she's just not very good live - ESPECIALLY when performing Jewel. (Which was on her last album, released in November.)

Then at least download Mr. Children's music. It's free. Best way of *not* supporting them.

Actually it's not; downloading means that somebody somewhere bought the music. Best way to not support them would be to boycott their music completely.
