Great show of skill, but one of the most boring solo's I've ever heard. Didn't even sound that good (melody wise). The only interesting parts were at minutes 8 IIRC, and the last melody, which was catchy (sounded familiar too).

I think most of it would've sounded better if there were rhythm guitars, or if the bass and drums were more interesting.

We all know Miyavi right? It's just the first minute of the music video that's his solo.

What can I say? we all know Angus Young, needless to say but he rocks!

Watch it till the end of it and try not to mind the start of that video, it's just mindless playing (it's the end of the song 'Let there be rock') which you can see that none of them isnt actually doing much. XD

The good part starts when he runs to the other side of that platform, it get's good near the end!


Edit* mgawd, I just watched that youtube version of that solo part (I the concert in my comp <.<) and what a horrible quality it has, I swear it sounds lot better than what you hear on that crappy youtube version, I feel sorry for those who wont get to listen to it with the best quality, that's like 50% crappier than it is.

Oh, I seen that miyavi video before, that's pretty darn awesome, same goes for buckedhead .

That Cannon Rock looks fun to play, I might just try learning that someday (if I ever find the tabs for that :S).

Mark Temonti (Alter Bridge/Creed) I love Alter Bridge and this solo rocks! Although im not sure if i would call it his best ever solo.

Dragon Force - through the fire and flames I love this video and i love the crazy guitar solos =)

Yeah Dragonforce kicks arse!
I also like Trilogysuite, by Yngwie Malmsteen.
But most influnted I am by Kai Hansen of Gamma-Ray/Ex-Helloween.
He's not a Malmsteen but I like his Tapping-Solo in Victim of Fate.
