As for metal...i guess i'm new to it, but I know it is excellent music. All I can suggest is Dragonforce. They are gods in my eyes..

just who the hell are dragonforce? never heard of them tbh... some sort of fantasy power metal?

You can try Hammerfall, Symphony X, & Rhapsody. Those are not well heard of.

For more well known, maybe Helloween, Dio, Yngwie Malmsteen (he is also "Neo"-Classical), Lizzie Borden, Twisted Sister.

there are already thread for this kind of music .. go visit it and read through it.. you'll find all great metal bands

I know theres a thread already, byt I didn't see it before i had posted this one.. I've already heard of Hammerfall and Dragonforce, listened to it a while ago
