Thread: Who is the true Queen of J-pop?

Because I want to see if we have any crazy Ayu fans here. Discuss.

It'd probably be Ayumi Hamasaki with the awesome track record she has had through out the years, but I dunno....XD
So I say Amuro Namie who I love oh so much (pretty dramatic lives though) the one that will take the role will be Mika Nakashima. *_* (My queen of j-pop)

Yeah, I was thinking of adding Mika Nakashima, but I didn't think she fit the role of one of the big names in J-pop... I mean, everyone knows who Namie, Kuu, Ayu, BoA, and Hikki are. They're Oricon chart toppers.

Oh, and then we have Gorie. Come on, people! Gorie!

i fall under the catergory of crazy Ayu fan. And i was going to write Ayumi before i saw the post or the poll. I just missing a few of her newest songs. (any ideas where to get them?)

What newer songs? Like Blue Bird? That song wasn't that great. She's releasing a new album soon called "secret", which Kuu fans are having fun with... at least, on the music forum I go to.

Utada Hikaru <--- ftw she sing the kingdom of hearts, i think that really good. Boa is a Korean singer, so she don't count as a japanese pop artist.

Yeah, I was going to mention that she's Korean, but she IS really big in Japan and she does sing J-pop. I would've voted for her except that I think Koda Kumi is more popular and more deserving of the title.

Hikki is a good singer too, but she's American, isn't she? =P Kidding~
