i don't know all their songs ^^ and much less the titles...
but from the ones i've heard, it wasn't really great... and in the same time better than lots of other groups like them....

maybe i'll re-listen to it if i have some time one day

aside from their drummer and their dj, i don't think their guitarists have very much techinical skill. they sound like every other nu-metal / hardcore band out there. It's a very bland and watered down version of real metal and good metal riffs. I get tired of listening to the chunk chunk chunk of the guitars. chunk chunk chunk doesn't make a riff. I don't get the feeling that they have a solid sense of musical composition. Theres not much originality either in their music OR their image, since they ripped the music off from other Nu Metal bands and their image from Mushroomhead.

I do like their vocalist because when he wants to, he can sing well. This is demonstrated by his vox in Stone Sour. If he's gonna scream and yell, he shouldn't do the half-assed shit like he does now, he should straight up growl and roar like REAL metal bands like Amon Amarth, or early Arch Enemy. If you're going to scream for a note, then at least hit the note. It's really lame if you go off tune. When people talk in their songs.... it gets annoying really fast.

Uno, they have two drummers. Two,which cd are you speaking of when you say that the guirarists do not demonstrate talent. And C, how do you know that he didn't hit the notes he was attempting to hit when he is screaming inside of his songs.I mean do you own the bars for the songs that they used inside of their studio.

(Uno) I'm referring to Joey Jordison, the MAIN drummer (not the dumbfuck that bangs beer kegs), who was good enough to substitute for Satyricon's drummer when he wasn't able to make it. This is one of only three redeeming factors for this band. The other two being when Corey sings, and when Sid scratches.

(Two) I have all three albums, plus B-Sides, and none of the guitarwork on their albums is good and techinically impressive. They've just downtuned the guitars to sound like Korn. If you're going to downtune guitars, at least do something techinical with it, the way bands like Gorguts, Arcturus, Meshuggah, etc. do on some of their albums. If you're not going to do something techinical with it, do something atmospheric or even symbolic with it, like Thyrfing. If there's no techinicality and there's no atmospherics, keep the guitars melodic, like Amon Amarth/early In Flames. You can be just as aggrressive and brutal with melodic guitars, if not more so, than as without.

    (C) No I don't own the music scores. But if Corey is doing his screaming a tune thing, and he IS following a "tune", then their melodic sensibilities have dropped even more in my opinion, because his screaming a tune has no melodic progression. If you're going to scream, go all out, growl and roar the fuck out of the mic, don't try to make it follow a bunch of notes merely for sensibilities.

I can see you're trying to defend your nu-metal tastes the way I used to a few years ago. Trust me, you'll grow out of it, when you begin to have higher expectations of your metal and other types of music.

earlier i used to call myself a maggotbut but when they released sublimal verses i really hated it ,it sounded like stonesour .i just seemed like they were drifting towards commercial music you know pop rap and stuff like that.
now i just listen to death metal ,black metaland sometimes grindcore.

i love slipknot because of the mad drums they do and some of their songs

Blistering Exist ^.^ if you turn the volume loud enough, the drums really get to ya.

any other songs that have hard drums other than Sic, surfacing, left behind and Blistering Exist?
    \"You kill one, you are a murderer.\"
    \"You kill many, you are a conqueror.\"
    \"You kill all, you are a god.\"
