Original. Think of all the singers with bad Engrish out there and imagine a song in English. I can't even listen to Koda Kumi's 1000 no Kotoba (1000 Words, I guess) in English without shuddering. It's not bad when sung by someone else in English, with different words, but then it's not really a translated version. Even BoA's music sounds much better in Japanese or Korean than in English.

definately original. a translation, no matter how good, can't fully capture the emotion and sound of the original version

with the exception of 1000 Words from FFX-2, Simple and Clean from Kingdom Hearts, and Sayonara Bye Bye from Yuu Yuu Hakusho... and that squeaky Rorouni Kenshin opening.
HEY!!! DE... 1000 words is awesome in english, you just need to find the game version not the album version.
