A good rock song to check out is "Shotgun Serenade" by "The Juliana Theory", that song is just ADDICTIVE when listened to just once o.O

It is very hard to choose a single greatest song. I put a lot of led zep and sabbath songs on the same level so it is hard to choose a single one. On a side note I have started to listen to more foriegn rock lately mainly because of anime.
