Thread: Stadium Arcadium

Has anyone been listening to this and how do you like it? Also, did you enjoy the RHCP's in their earlier years with album like Freaky Styley and Blood,Suger,Sex,Magic or do you enjoy their Sunshine Trilogy more?

so far i've only heard their single on the radio Dani California and really liked it so i think i'll try this album out. i'll give my two cents after i've thoroughly listened to it.

What do you call the Sunshine Trilogy?

BloodSugarSexMagik was awesome, but to be honest I didn't like most of the stuff before that. There was the occassional good track on earlier albums like Freaky Styley and Mothers Milk, but BSSM was a huge leap forward.

After that, One Hot Minute was respectable, and Californication was too, in its way.... after that tho, it was a pretty sharp turn downhill as far as I'm concerned. By The Way sounded like exactly the same song for the duration of the album.

Haven't heard the new one at all. What's your opinion, Thread Starter? I see Dani California is going to be the theme song for the new Death Note movie, so I'm really hoping it's pretty good.

Earlier albums were great, californication has the most of my fav songs and by the way has some good songs too, dont even need to mention the earlier albums cause they are all just awesome and I do like many of the songs from stadium arcadium.

I even learned how to play most of the new songs with the guitar:P (or well, the easier ones) (talking 'bout stadium arcadium).

Definately a good album, hope they will go on making new music.
