I hope the movie is rated "R" or else, it won't be the same.

Trailer looked kinda wierd, when I was in the theater alot of people were booing at some parts it was like 'what the hell?' I hope it turns out good, but the trailer was weird as hell.

Watchmen will be rated R and hopefully three hours long
Thompson On Hollywood: Comic-Con Exclusive: Snyder Talks Watchmen
"Zack Snyder is currently battling with Warners over the ultimate running time of the movie, which is three hours. He's trying to cut it down, but doesn't want to lose a character like Hollis, a guy who gets murdered about half way through. 'I'm not ready for that yet. If Dark Knight got two and a half hours, Watchmen should get fifteen minutes more,' he pleads."
@true_panda: I don't know what you thought weird about it, if you have read the graphic novel it looked like a lot of scenes were ripped right from it's pages, which is awesome.
p.s. this is also the best trailer I've seen all summer.

"
Grapes and
grapes!"

it was the only trailer i remembered after coming out of The Dark Knight. looks very impressive; i must confess that i knew nothing about it beforehand, but after wiki-ing it, it's definitely something i'd watch.

I'm pretty stoked about the film. My only concern is that the characters look a little too 'shiney'. In the comic they're supposed to be old/retired/broken down/tubby. I realise that they will need to change some of the stuff, so that they can interest the mainstream audience, I just hope they don't go too far.

Interesting that they made this a movie, it's "not your average comic book", got that in my collection. And it's really weird compared to other hero comics...
Comic heros seems to be on hype in hollywood, they're riding the wave...

Rorschach was the only one who mattered anyway.

Rorschach on the big screen= orgasm times 10

Has anyone been following the court case? Seems Warner Bros didn't have the distribution rights for the film. What a joke. I hope the judge in the case is a fan. Here's the link.
