Thread: Moulin Rouge

Yes, I know it's been around for a while, but I just watched it again this afternoon, after five years. I thought it was very beautiful and touching, I almost cried, ha. I even sang along and stuff. Am I the only one who enjoyed this film?

Luv that movie, though it's from 2001. Oh and I watched Romeo + Juliet and Strictly Ballroom for about 100 times
Baz Luhrmann is an awesome director.

Oh I loved that song. The first time I watched it I thought that the hole first half of the movie was on LSD (in a good kind of way), what with all the bright colors and fast movement of the characters and scenes. The story also pulled at my heartstrings, not that this is all that difficult to do.

But I think I liked the mishmash of all the songs the best. They all seemed to fit so well, and yet there was that sense of 'randomness' that pervades the hole movie.

It was just a beautiful work all together.
