The Happening

Saw it, was thoroughly unimpressed. One or two "oh shit!" moments. But other than the opening construction scene the entire movie seemed like BS. Mark Whalberg != Nice Guy. Having him play one... you might as well had put Steven Segal in the lead role. Zooey Deschanel (who I didn't know was in the film until the opening credits) is wow though. Love her eyes. They're like pools of infinite awe. Skip the movie though.

Hmm, I was thinking about seeing it. Loved 6th sense, and signs were..meh, "okay" I guess.

I think im seeing this one online then, instead of the cinema =/

EDIT: Okay, just saw this thing. I wish I'd had done what SD said and skipped the movie..sigh.

Only thing that "happened" was my friend leaving the the middle of the movie to get more popcorn.

I thought it had some potentiel. I liked the build up, but like the happening and signs it was disapointing in the end. 6th sense was the only one which really wasnt a failure.

I mostly agree with SD.

Zooey was the only reason that the movie wasn't a total waste of 10 bucks. How could markemark be so corny? I haven't laughed so much at a "serious" movie since I saw the new Rambo movie.
