From what we can tell, he absorbed the flame thrower's ability. He also absorbed DL's ability from pretty far away as well. I'm willing to accept it if he's suddenly able to overpower even those with super strength.

Edit: On a side note, I wonder how Peter knew that Sylar was put into the cell. He ran away in Jessie's body before Noah put Sylar into the cell. I wonder why Claire said "You took everything from me," when Sylar never got her ability in that future. Maybe he stole it from her later on, but that doesn't go with future Peter saying "That wasn't supposed to happen!" when he found out Sylar got the healing ability.

Damnit, they're making Sylar a better more good guy now. He's supposed to be the villain dammit.

This is an alternate future, different from what was at the beginning of the show. If you were to go in the future at one day, then do something different when you go back, the future will end up being different (all physics and dimensions). For example, if there are two paths in front of you, there are two different futures. If you take one path and you don't like it, you could back at the point when you had the decision and change it, thus destroying that future of taking the other path, and creating a new future. I don't know how Peter knew, maybe he had Molly's power?

Or with his newly acquired power, he knew what to do.

It's not about getting more powers, it's about learning how things work and figuring out the best course of action.

Sort of like how Sylar always knows how to act around people and push them to do what he wants.

Except that instead of learning about people so that he can manipulate them it's about learning how to connect events together to best change the future.

They really do need to put a limit on Peter's ability cause I'm pretty sure he copied D.L.'s power without actually seeing it himself, which must mean that as long as you're in viewing range, he can copy your power. They need to create some kind of weakness to his powers.

Sylar turned Bennet into little Noah???? I hate it when they don't explain the little things like this, for example why is he's in the Bennet house to begin with.

Claire being a somewhat attractive bitch, still has some heart. It looked like she purposely missed shooting Past Peter if you take a closer look (her eyes closing and hesitation).

Maya is hot.

Adam just gave one of the best if not the best ending to an episode.

Well, as long as Peter's within a certain range of a person, I believe he automatically absorbs it. Just like when the Haitian is within a certain range to others with powers, their power shuts off.

You may think, "Hey, Peter was already near Sylar before. He didn't have his power then.". Well, The situation with Sylar may be different. Sylar's power is more complicated, so Peter had to "activate" or "access" it first, as Gabriel/Sylar said.

As for weaknesses, too many DNA transfusions or adrenal gland alterations may be unhealthy for the body, though the power of regeneration may or may cancel out the effect of that. There is still the trade-off of being unable to control a certain power. For example, Peter almost blew up New York City and Sylar blew up Costa Verde (in the future). Peter would have to somehow "seal" his power maybe, or he'd have to be very careful with his powers. However, after a certain amount of time he seemed able to control it. Although Peter seems to be all-powerful, the Haitian is still able to contol him and there are "pills" made for that too. Seeing where the show is going, Peter might end up being one of the "villains", so the options previously stated would be his so-called weakness. Hopefully, neither Peter or Sylar would cut off the Haitians head and take his power. Then the both of them would be too powerful and then the show would go down the toilet.

If Peter copied the Haitian's power, would he be able to negate the Haitian power negation or even be able to copy it to begin with? Sounds like a paradox to me.

The formula is a formula to give people power,

So what's the company's objective? They have so much going on, the virus, the formula, and the president election.

Recent episodes, Hiro is pathetic, acting like an 10 year old.
It's good to see Ando do something about it. Without Ando, Hiro is pretty much boring.

Although Peter seems to be all-powerful, the Haitian is still able to contol him and there are "pills" made for that too.

Regarding the haitian, there are so much inconsistencies with his power, there were times that seemed he could suppressed peter's power and there were times he's useless. for example, when peter stopped the taser gun with telekinesis and flew away carrying that invisible guy, the haitian failed.
They will need to drug peter like they drug sylar or use the Shanti virus, if necessary.

Oh when Mohinder was talking to his neighbor, did the guy said "back off Sayid?"

yeah they really need to explain what happened to noah (claire's father) and why sylar was living in their house. claire was always a bitch i realized because all she does is not trust people, accuse others, and complain.
