Thread: Quantum of Solace

Watched this yesterday. It felt completely like a bridge between the two films. My friend described the movie as Quantum of Somnambulance. I gotta agree. I found it kinda boring.

Well, i think it's because of the stupid main antagonist:

See Bond giving out all he got when he fight enemy's thugs, he's having a difficult time.
And then see Bond facing the main enemy, shouldn't boss fight be much more harder? it felt like the anti-climax....

I wish I could like the new Bond movies, but it ended with GoldenEye for me. GE was a great movie, but for some reason the recent movies just don't have the same effect as they did back then. Maybe I'm getting old?

How old could you be?

I didn't see Quantam of Solace because it looked too different from Casino Royale. I saw Casino Royale after some avoidance to see Danial Craig as Bond. It was the best bond I've seen. Maybe I'll go watch this one soon.

I watched casino royale after giving it some thought and for me, yeah casino royale is among the best there is of bond movies. i like the way craig played the bond character, giving it a new edge (my opinion solely) as a new and harder, hot tempered bond.

and quantum feels like a let down to me. but the action scenen is still good la..

Wondering why this extremely old thread was necro'd, but I have to say Quantum of Solace was crap compared to Casino Royal.
