I have to agree partially. This is the first Bond film that I fell asleep in (for a good half-hour in the middle apparently).

Yeah, I noticed that too. Every skirmish was drawn out into 15minute+ life-or-death battles and the high quality (of the movie) worked against itself in the fights because it was a little nauseating to watch and follow.

Heh, if anything i was disappointed by the lack of hand-to-hand fighting as they are pretty much the best thing in the movies ever since Daniel Craig became James Bond.

The last one was pretty pathetic with the waving his axe screaming like a fucking pre-pubescent girl.

It was decent enough but it lacked......shit i donīt know, crunch? essence?

Some bullshit word to describe the quality of a movie.

Yeah, I had the same problem. I also thought that Bond would become more smooth and suave, but he just got more reckless and dark.

Reckless and dark is not the problem.... the problem is that abrupt ending and anticlimactic relationship with Camille.

I raise a toast to the the souls that sang all along. I've been gathering friends to just to make some sounds,

Saw it today with some buddies. We walked out of the theater going, "What the fuck did we just watch?" I then spent the next hour trying to remember what happened in the movie...

I mean, it was like 20 minutes of storyline grated into bits and sprinkled around almost 2 hours of ACKSHON!!1!

It was more like, a car-chase followed by a man-chase followed by more chasing, then another scene of chasing, and let's not forget when they were being chased!

Yes the action was good, but it was just... constant.

^well, i guess i can agree with that. too much action, maybe, that's why i prefer casino royale. either way, i still say this is better than, say, die another day.

my real problem with this movie is lack of humour. where have all the jokes gone?

Ok I thought I had trouble following it cause I was really tired but yeah I loved the last bit of action (fuel cells + speeding car = fire balls) and the beginning but the middle did lack interest I mean the action was cool but I think it tired me out more Casino Royale was better

Some of the action scenes were too high-paced, I couldn't figure out what was going on. I also recommend watching the first one again before seeing Quantum.

I don't know... This James Bond sure is though and that's good...

But there's no cool spy-gadgets anymore?! Come On!! Where the hell all of that goes?
