Live action movie! This will be an origins movie. This is the people who brought us Transformers! They almost ruined it but ... Larry Hama (The king and father of G.I.Joe?) came in and made all things right. He is the consultant, part writer, doing the comic adaptation, and he gets a cameo in the movie as a general above G.I.Joe (hahaha!). So this will rock! A toyline is already pegged! Hell, contracts for part 2 and 3 have been signed!

I am really excited about this one! We've been waiting for this forever. How many times have we cast this film in our heads or magazines like Wizard does it for us. I am very pleased with all that I have read and discovered about this film. I thought I'd have a problem with the cast but I don't. Looks like a good line-up. Ray Park as Snake-Eyes? YES! I think Larry Hama has saved this movie from going off track. As to Joseph Gordon-Levitt ... I saw a recent photo off him and well ... he sorta looks like a Cobra Commander. He has CC's build. He'll wear a mask 24/7 in the film.

My main worry is the voice of Cobra Commander, Destro, and Zartan. Those are famous voices in the cartoons. Please don't ruin it. In the FF movies Doctor Doom's voice was ... horrible! Destro needs that voice! Please! If they get these three voices right then these characters will carry some power. If just some dude's normal voice ... these characters will seem weakened.

I personally love to do a Cobra Commander rant! "You insignificant fools!" with a voice that about hurts your throat.

It's already shooting and will be released on 8-7-2009!
