Thread: Stardust

Anyone see that? I really liked it. Very original.

But grrr... Teh nudie scenes with Michelle Pfeiffer and Claire Danes were so annoying... Damn teases.

Any way I found it very interesting.

I liked it as well. The song in the end is really good too. But the movie was sweet, and funny. It really did live up to its tag of "A fairy tale for adults".

I found it to be a little too generic and predictable at times (my friend assured me the book was not like that at all), like a certain romance scene... and I felt that character development was cut to make room for the Robert DeNiro scenes. Still, adapting a book into a movie isn't easy, and it was charming.

i thought that was pan's labyrinth. oh well. yeah, i liked the movie as well but i have to agree with it being predictable at times.

Pan's Labyrinth really felt like a fairy tale for adults. Stardust was sort of in the middle... like Shrek, I guess. Kids could enjoy it, adults could enjoy it. You still can't compare it to Pan's Labyrinth, though.

I dunno... Stardust was a bit... morbid.

The whole Robert De Niro cross dressing scene was amusing.
