There have been several recent good horror films. The Descent, The Ring, Cloverfield, The Hills Have Eyes, American Psycho, Black Sheep, Dawn of the Dead, Slither... I could go on...
Almost forgot this one, Takashi Miike's Imprint

I like to die with the songs I love stuck in my head. I hope to make the most of these hollow bones we become.
I raise a toast to the the souls that sang all along. I've been gathering friends to just to make some sounds,
before the ship goes down, I've been making amends by making the rounds before the whole world ends

Did anyone else even notice Romero's re-envisioning of his zombie franchise coming out? Diary of the Dead
Ah, and I'm one of the few people who actually liked the 2003 Hulk. Note: I haven't read the original story and don't assume there's more connection than the names and basic premise of the character.
American Psycho is recent? It's 8 years ago. I think a lot of ppl have this bad impression on horror flicks, because there's a lot of bad ones that everyone seems to see and know about, while a lot of the good ones get neglected.
the only movie coming out kinda soon i care about is DBZ. FUCK YES.
I saw Jumper. I was forced to watch it. I usually try to stay away from bad movies. It would have been alright if they didn't make the movie simply to show off their cg of ppl jumping. The dialogue(why is spell check picking this up?) was horrid, and so was the romance. All in all bad movie. The jumping did look cool for the first half though.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. I was avoiding that movie like a plague sense I saw the previews almost a year ago. At least now I've finally seen a bad opinion on it.
I think that movie is notbad at all
^ It was most defintitely a shit film. Usually when I'm sat in the cinema watching a film I'm too engrossed in the experience and story to notice if a film isn't too great, but this film made me notice. As mentioned the dialogue was terrible, many of the scenes felt clichéd, the plot felt hurried and extremely shallow. If they'd just shown me the minute long trailer again it would have been a far better experience.
So yeah to summarise, very disappointing.
It also scores bonus shitty points for having the guy who played Duncan Kane in Veronica Mars in it too, who's pretty much the only actor I don't like in that show.
10000BC is coming out this weekend I believe. Who's psyched?
