Its a kids movie, what were you expecting?!
I like to die with the songs I love stuck in my head. I hope to make the most of these hollow bones we become.

So I may get a chance to go to the premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival on the 3rd of May. Woot.

Wow. I can't believe that they decided to make a movie of this. I mean most kids these days don't even know what the original show is.

I think they could have done a better job with the actors. It should have, at least, been a movie made for older people (PG-13 or up) who might have actually heard of Speed Racer before this movie.

You couldnt even get that far. The show is 41 years old. At that point maturity in a cartoon they saw as kids (they'd be at least 50) would be pointless.

Yeah, actually by making it for kids they are reaching the people who watched the movie as kids. They are going to want to take their kids to see it now. Figure someone who watched speed racer as a kid would be around 40-50 years old, so they probably have kids that are 5-12 who they are going to want to take to see the movie.

I would see this as I do like Speed Racer but just not in a movie theater probably as a rental. Besides that by the looks of it I probably would go blind from all the bright neon colors and the very bad acting would just not allow me to watch it in one sitting.
