Thread: Avatar: The Last Airbender Book 3

The new eps finally started to come out after over a year.

Aang and Zoku seem to be placed in, er, interesting situations after the craziness of the finale of the last season.

Its about time a real thread was created for this. Share your thoughts and speculations for what you think will occur in this final season of Avatar.

I know that this is probably aimed at people somewhat younger than me, but I don't give a shit; this show is awesome. Not only are the fight/bending scenes excellent, it's also got a well-thought-out and engaging storyline, pretty decent humour considering its (assumedly) intended audience, and interesting characters. Not to mention duck-turtles and other ingenious concoctions.

That being said the half year delay or whatever was pretty weak.

Oh and Iroh is the shit. I can't wait til he pwns some foo's, starting with Azula and then a more moderate shit-kicking for Zuko, the little bitch.

I watch the series lol. Its awesome ^_^ I was like o.o when iroh took his shirt off I was when did he get a 6 pack!

Same here. I'm clearly too old to be part of the intended audience, but the story is quite excellent and there are a lot of cool characters.

Well, I think they promised the season after a year's wait anyways. Though, I was pretty disappointed a few months back when I checked the wikipedia article on it showing no clear date for when the season would start.

Iroh is my favorite character in the series. I think the white lotus or whatever that organization was called is going to help him escape, though, I also think Zuko will reconcile with Iroh soon and turn on his dad (whether this comes before or after Iroh starts acting, I have no clue).

Also, I think Zuko and Iroh will eventually ally with the avatar (way down the line of this season) to help Ang learn firebending and so that the fire nation lord can be replaced by one more friendly to the world (Zuko). Their friendship is something that has been built up since the beginning of the series.

I also think Ang's avatar powers may be severely shocked or inhibited due to the shock he received at the end of last season. I think he'll have to go through some strong healing process or some more severe shock to restore his powers.

I like "uncle" very much...

I agree with you here, they already have enough connections to the avatar's group (Iroh and Toph, and a little bit of Zuko and Katara.)

Toph rocks. end of story.

i dont love avatar bt at the same time i dont hate it , i think its not kind of story that attract you to watch the next episode , i mean you just know what is coming up
& its tepical (spelling maybe wrong) four elemnts ,fire air earth & water

dont forget the brief conversation iroh had with aang as well. but yeah the new season isn't too bad. gotta love the hair =P

and yes iroh is the man. has the best dialogue with zuko in the entire series: "this tea is nothing more than hot leaf juice!" "uncle, that's what ALL tea is".

I just finished watching it from Season 1 the Ep 3 of Season 3. Toph (if thats how you spell her name)... Man she is awesome. Best character in the series.
