    In my house.

Thats, not how the original fight was.
The book is called, The Death Of Superman. Doomsday was already on earth, trapped under the earth. I think it later turned out to be Cadmus. He starts rampaging, because, thats what he is made to do. Some Justice society [i think] members, such as Booster Gold are the first to encounter Doomsday. They get the hell beaten out of them, one member gets bis back broken. Superman comes to save the day, but still is not enough to defeat Doomsday. Eventually the Justice members retreat, or get knocked out. Superman is left to fight one on one. Till eventually he uses sheer will power and strength to beat him down.

They both die in the middle of Metropolis. There is a follow up book where various supermen crawl out of the woodwork. Superboy appears, but is just a clone with an identity issue. Steel bases his suit on superman. There is an android, and another version of Superman, which is the one that is featured in this movie.

Ill upload The Death Of Superman. I deleted the follow up book. Its boring, and long.

I'm just going by the compilation comic I read in j.h.s. Ill see this because I do remember the Justice League being defeated and I do remember talking to my cousin about the other supermen but I don't remember that in the comic i'd read. I'll check that out.

Edit. I know im not crazy.

    Round two: Hunter/Prey

Eventually, after passing through a wormhole, Doomsday's asteroid was accidentally found by a deep-space scavenger ship. Upon closer examination of the peculiar-looking drifting rock, the ship's crew retrieved the object hoping to find something of value. The scavenger vessel happened to be on a route to Apokolips, the home of the awesomely-powerful tyrant Darkseid. Doomsday was fully rested and, after slaughtering the crew of the salvage ship, found himself landing on the harsh world. This was to be the setup for a final showdown between Doomsday and Superman (similarly resurrected, in the meantime), who had been uneasy about the possibility of Doomsday's resurrection. With the help of his JLA contacts, Superman procured a Mother Box, a thinking computer, after Darkseid's servant Desaad contacted Earth about a problem on Apokolips. Unknown to Superman, Doomsday had faced and beaten Darkseid himself in single combat (even surviving Darkseid's fabled Omega Beams) and was laying waste to Apokolips. Unfortunately, before Superman could deal with Doomsday, Desaad opened a boom tube to Calaton -- the first world where Doomsday was successfully defeated -- and sent Doomsday through to what he believed was his defeat at the hands of The Radiant. However, Doomsday is essentially able to adapt and overcome any opponent because of the process by which he was created (he was always stronger than he had been prior to his last death); so, although the Radiant had defeated him once, he would not be able to defeat him again. Likewise, even though Superman had killed Doomsday once before, he would be unable to do so again. Superman, while knowing this, was obsessed with stopping Doomsday and traveled to Calaton. He fought Doomsday again with the help of the Mother Box, but, despite it providing him with extra weapons such as an ultrasonic gun and an energy sword, Superman met with defeat. He was forced to use one of Waverider's time travel devices to leave Doomsday stranded at the End of Time, where Doomsday met the one force he could not overcome: entropy.
Granted i havent read the comic since sixth grade and I forgot all about Darkseid getting his ass kicked.

I'd like to die with the songs I love stuck in my head. I hope to make the most of these hollow bones we become.
I raise a toast to the the souls that sang all along. I've been gathering friends to just to make some sounds,
before the ship goes down, I've been making amends by making the rounds before the whole world ends

Um... I haven't seen this movie yet but I still have the actual comics from the death and rebirth of Superman, but from reading your guy's comments it sounds kind of similar.

@Tet- everything seems right except Doomsday doesn't die after the battle, the android superman has some kinda weird identity crisis and thinks he's the real Superman and sends Doomsday to the sun tied up on a rock after the real Superman's death.

@Steal- err, could have been one of the later battle Superman has with him. Saw a compilation of the stories with Superman and Doomsday, was pretty big so I guess you could be right if it were a different battle. But the one you're talking about is definitely not from the death of Superman.
