Default Hitman the movie - Trailer

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZKyqDo329bs

For what I see now, I'm really disappointed.

Firstly, 47 was an cold-hearted killer - never interested in woman nor cared whatever the guy he killed was good or evil - he was his target.

Secondly, no fibre wire in the trailers - come on ! How can you make a Hitman movie without fibre wire !

Moreover, the actor is just too young - 47 had stern face without any expression. If you dressed him in pink pants, straw hat and give him a rubber duck, he would still look scary and majestic.

Finally, If I remember correctly - all the clones were called "47" because of the additional chromosome which was supposed to make him a perfect predator.

That's my opinion - looking at YouTube comments, some people like the idea of this movie - what do you think ?

I saw the guys image plastered on the cover of a movie magazine yesterday, and instantly knew that he will not fit the bill. As you said, he is too young, and does not have that hard edge look about him.

    Movie will probably suck.

But there is no fibrewire - I won 80% of my missions with that weapon alone (except for Hitman 1 with the jungle mission and the last mission in Hitman 1 and 2).

You can't make a Hitman movie because 47 doesn't have a lot of dialogue and there's no love interest for him. How can Hollywood make a movie if there's no girl, or suitable dialogue?

It would have been the same for 'Tekkon Kinkreet' had it been made in Hollywood

Q: Do you think you could have made a movie like this back in Hollywood?

Michael Arias: No. We absolutely could not have made this film in America. I know because we tried. [Anime director] Koji Morimoto and I made a pilot film back in 1999 and we shopped it around to studios in the U.S. The pilot won a lot of awards and was treated very nicely in Japan and Europe, but the reaction in America was just what you'd expect. Studio execs would look at our work and say, "Great movie, but can you turn the little boy into a little girl?" or "Can you make these characters teenagers?" without even a hint of irony. They'd missed the point completely. But we also wouldn't have been able to make this film in the U.S. simply because traditional animation is pretty much dead over there. So Japan was really the place to do it
