My new favourite hateshow - Heroes!
WARNING.. MAJOR SPOILERS!
Hello, i've been watching all the first season of Heroes for the past few days, and to begin with, i thought it was going to be different from the rest of the shows with people who have superpowers, or, other latent weird abillities... Alas, it is not!
Not only are the people who have their powers too stupid to use them, or in denial, or megalomaniacal(Sylar), but the the continuation of the show seems to rely on peoples weak and totally illogical actions(The peak of it all, when Hiro Nakamura decided to thrust the sword into sylar and then just turn around and look confused, leaving the most dangerous and insane man known in the entire show, lying on the ground with a pulse..)
Why does all shows have to rely on other peoples mistakes to continue? "Woops i fucked up, but hey, this should do for few more episodes!"
I haven't watched alot of super fancy american shows with great reviews, but if all shows continue to be like this, i'd rather watch grass grow or paint dry..
Anyone feeling me here?
The people in "Heroes" who have special powers are so afraid or stupid not to use them that its their inabillity that keeps the show going. Jesus christ Peter Petrelli had atleast two lethal abillities, one of which, no, two of which Sylar didnt have.. Peter could have used his power of flight and the monster strenght he got from "Jessica" to pound the shit out of Sylar. But nooo.. he'll just stare at the guy who's about to kill everyone he cares for and use none of his abillities. DAMN his future self had atleast some power of action..
Also, When D.L. took a bullet for Nikki, it was a stupid move.. he could have just pushed her out of sight and go all "immaterial" on linderman, choking his sorry ass to hell..
And the examples go on and on!
WHY does shows rely on this stupidity to keep the shows going? AArrgh!
