Its true though, fuck the people who don't like it. Mel Gibson would make an almost perfect Max Payne. And the same style that was in Payback would be more than fitting.

Mel Gibson is perfect for the role. Watch Payback and you'll see it to.

Payback actually reminds me of Cowboy Bebop on some levels.

The sort of noir tone, and detective narration from Jet Is where I see the similarity's.

If you watch "Detective Story" from the Animatrix, which is by the creator or Cowboy Bebop, you will see even more similarity's.

On top of that, I can see a vague resemblance between the actual storyline from Payback and the Syndicate stuff from Cowboy Bebop.

Max Payne might be a good movie... If you can make a movie of hitman, you should certainly be able to do one of max payne. And for playing him? I want Clive Owen, but that'll never happen.

Doubt that Hitman is goin to be a hit, the trailer try's to make the movie look cool -_-
But if max payne gets/have some good writers and director, it has a good chance..and if they remember the noir style like in the game..

Actually... I was so captivated by the contrasts in the trailer that I just canät wait to see the movie.

How can you forget the noir style when that's basically the entire point with the game?
