just saw it and it's a good watch. I'd give it an A- overall.

Action packed for sure. =D

Do you think they died in the end? And do you think Lily lived? I think all 3 of them survived. My cuz only thinks Lily survived. Yes or no?

From the beginning, the US Gov't had the video, so i'm assuming they (beth and rob) did die, but as for Lily. I agree with your cousin with her surviving.

The way it ends alludes to both Rob and Beth dying. Mad depressing.

I know why he made the movie. I must confess that was the best ad campaign ever for a movie. I watched it today and I went in with zero expectations and a very open mind. I was ready to take whatever they had to throw at me. I won't give away any spoilers here. But I must tell you something ... if you walk into this movie, bite into it, really get into it likes it's real ... then you will have an experience. It's like a ride for your senses. Because the movie effects your senses you will walk out thinking that was kinda cool regardless if you liked the actual movie or not. If you walk in expecting a big awesome movie, epic story, ect ... you're gonna hate this movie. If you walk in and dont' get into it at all ... then you're gonna laugh your ass off and smack yourself for paying to see this.

It was an experience ... but by the ending credits everyone in the theater booed this movie. People threw things at the screen. Very pissed people. I thought the movie was utter garbage. It's a big shame too.

Extra info for you: A four volume manga prequel is coming out in Japan. A second movie is being planned but it's about a different group with a camera during the exact same movie. It's the same movie but from different angles with different people. Not a real sequel.

In the end it's like the whole thing was a scam. It's only an hour long too if you didn't know.

I am afraid of what this means now though. Movie makers are gonna realize that they can make cheap trash movies ... but show great trailers and have mystery surround the movie and everyone will go see it. You know there will be copycats to this movie.

In closing ... this is one of those movies where once you've seen it once there is no point in watching it again. I can see people getting the DVD so they can pause it during the times things were flashed so fast you could barely make anything out. Other than that it's pointless. *Sigh*

I have no idea why anyone would be pissed at this movie. Other than its length and shaky camera there was nothing wrong. The script was absolutely believable which would have been the main turnoff for a film like this and it was 90 minutes long, not an hour... standard length for most horror films. I do feel if they added an extra half hour to 45 minutes they could have developed the monster as a character a bit more than just some sudden and immortal (?) force.

It's believable if you can swallow the whole monster thing.

No need for the question mark. I just found out that there was something after the credits. Look for it as you please.

And did anybody see the thing falling in to the water near the very end of the movie? I didn't at first but I found out about it later here

but yeah, I'm with SD here, how do u hate on this movie besides the point of what SD said. Makes no sense to me at all. =\
