Thread: Harry Potter 5

Came back from seeing it just now. It was not awful I will say that. Honestly one of the better out of the 5 that have been made. The action and fights were superb, but I felt like they overdid it and did not emphasize the actual damn story which is the whole god damn point of Harry Potter to begin with.

I am going to see soon, but on of my friend saw it, it was okay for him.

Went opening night, awesome, but the Weasley Twins looked like they were 30 or something! A lot of them are getting old, very fast! They need to speed up production!!
I'm liking that the film is finally getting darker and more mature, and the visual effects are amazing in this film!

Harry pothead! On the radio they were giving out spoilers to the Harry fans waiting in line, it was pretty funny. I don't get why harry is so huge, it really don't appeal to me.

What like Sirius dies? There's a dementor attack at the beginning? Umbridge is a bitch? Hagrid has a Giant named Grawp for a half-brother?

I am disapointed in this movie they missed out a couple of important things from the book and some interesting detail to, like how the dracos were related to the blacks and stuff

Well they had a limited time to present a huge book. I never went into it with an expectation for comprehensiveness. I still think that a nonreader wouldn't be able to keep up to well with the movie.

I went to see it again on Friday, and I'm mad at myself for missing it, but the corny dialogue got the better of me.

But what was Ginny's reaction when Hermione was talking about Cho not looking away from Harry? This is after they meet in the Hog's Head and are talking about where they are going to practice while walking on the bridge.

I can't remember if it was the fifth or 6th book but wasnt there quiditch in the 5th and ron also started to fly or w.e, and werent ron and hermoine suppose to be those people that are incharge or w.e I can't remember what they are called though.
