    Default Are You Kidding Me?

    This thread is an inquiry about those movies you havent seen that garner the response "are you kidding me?" or "how can you have not seen that, everyone's seen that movie!" For example one of my friends hasn't never seen a single Star Wars movie, ever. For some reason or another you just havent seen said particular movie and people are always astonished that you havent.

    For me its The Exorcist.

    For purposes of clarification a "are you kidding me" movie has to be out on dvd/video for at least a year, you have to give people time to get around to the movie. Some other examples of movies that could be considered are The Godfather, Scarface, Legally Blonde, and the Matrix.

    A good follow up question is, do you plan even plan to watching this movie or do you take pride in the fact that you havent seen it?

    Never saw The Exorcist, any of the Godfather movies or the Monty Python movies, never saw Scarface, never saw Baby Boy, never saw The Grudge, never saw The French Connection, or Chicago, or Traffic, or NARC, I dont remember seeing The Green Mile, Erin Brockovitch, Jerry Maguire and a couple more


    my goal is to watch every best picture winning film since 1990... im on my way though.

    ^ I've never seen any of the movies that has been mentioned here. except for Star wars and the Green Mile (I like that movie ^^)

    The other movies that I haven't seen are the Lord of The Rings Trilogy. All of my friends liked it but I never got around in watching it.

    wow...seriously, are you kidding me....never saw LOTR?!

    i've never seen any of the Saw movies yet. That count??

    I almost got around to watching that, except i fell asleep in the first 10 minutes becuase i thought it was slow. After that i decided to skip that movie and was wondering why it is considered one of the top movies of all time.

    I would say Borat counts, I havent seen either. Everyone seemed to be talking about it.

    i havnt seen any godfather movie and french connection.

    i would be surprised if there is someone who hast seen any terminator or rocky movie.
