    Default I recommend watching this!

thread can be used in general for recommending watching anything, but i really would like for someone to watch this. Called Parallel Universe, on the Science Channel. These are the show times...

....it talks and gives a solid theory of the origin of everything, parallel universes and it explains A LOT. The theory is called M-theory, and it's freaking crazy!

I wont use this thread for mainstream stuff... I reccommend watching this movie I just saw called Boys Don't Cry... deals with sexual identity. This movie was so good it made me feel like shit. I always was open minded to everything, but this movie just cemented it. I just can't describe how it made me feel... actually I probably can I would just rather not, go see it for yourself.

...I'd advise watching Bergman's The Seventh Seal.

Brilliant film about...a ton of stuff. It's about a knight on his way back from the crusades who plays a game of chess with Death. Fascinating movie.

there was a few films that i thought were good in my Asian Amercian Films class, and yes i know very typical...but it was 3 units and an easy A!

anyway, i thought Raise The Red Lantern(who was the same director of the movie Hero, and House of Flying Daggers but isn't an action movie), Rabbit Proof Fence, A.K. Don Bonus, and for those who haven't watched Infernal Affairs watch it. well, this is all i can think of atm.

    Pay It Forward

This movie gives you hope for mankind. It's a touching story about a little boy's ideals and how they impact everyone around him.

Oh, and the hero is that little boy from Six Sense. =D

Pay It Forward was awesome. I recommend that as well. To me its a truly revolutionary idea.

I'd also like to recommend Babel. Has anyone else seen it?

Two movies i enjoyed are Maria Full of Grace and The Motorcycle Diaries. The motorcycle diaries is about ernesto "che" guevara before he helped in the cuban revolution, an interesting character and his book on guerrilla warfare has inspired other revolutions.

The show about M theory doesnt come on at the most convienant times, but if i watch it, it will be the one on Sunday.
