I haven't seen the movie yet. I do, however love "Hope is emo."

I think I basically summed up the movie by saying Megatron's line five seconds before he said it... word for word. Without knowing anything about the movie.

It had explosions and that was great, but the camerawork/directing of action scenes wasn't great, the dialogue was boring/shitty (depending on when in the movie), all the bad guys looked alike, and there were tons of plot holes. But the explosions were good.

The directions for the action scenes were great, I loved how the cameras appeared as if they couldn't keep up with what was going. How all of them looked as if they belonged in the lighting and area they were in. It was beautiful. I also have to say that at some point I just overloaded on special effects and sound studio goodness. At some points it was just overwhelming.

Second, the plot wasn't supposed to be anything out of the ordinary, it's a remake of a cartoon made in the '80s the dialog was simple to the point and sometimes a little silly.

A over all well done movie that didn't destroy my childhood.

The action scenes were terrible - I was sitting in the second row, and it was just too much: the moving camera, the moving people, the moving Transformers... and not even that, but it was all moving too fast. It was impossible to keep up and it gave me a major headache. The special effects were fun, though.

As for the dialogue, it was cheesy, but not remake-of-an-80's-cartoon-cheesy. Actually wait. It wasn't that cheesy. It just sucked. And it was full of plotholes.

Well, for the same reason I love the action and the dialog you hated it. As a kid who used to watch the transformer cartoon. I'm happy with the movie.

The movie overall was umm impressive considering they brought back such an old cartoon. Honestly I only liked the action part, but as Digital Eon said it all happened to fast and I was like wtf??

Careful, people. We can't praise the direction in the fight scenes...to do so is to praise Michael Bay.
