Thread: NANA BY YAZAWA Ai

This manga is superb génial, Great, that say, GEANT!! Thank Yazawa Ai of writing and drawing the story.
I am surprised that here there have no corner on this series!
The book and the anime are superb great. The film less well to my taste !!

A little summary for those not familiar:
Nana "Hachi" Komatsu hopes that moving to Tokyo will help her make a clean start and leave her capricious love life behind her. Nana Osaki, who arrives in the city at the same time, has plans to score big in the world of rock'n'roll. Although these two young women come from different backgrounds, they quickly become best friends in a whirlwind world of sex, music, fashion, gossip and all-night parties!

dont tell me there's a live action film? how can they possibly put a story like nana into a 1-3 hour live action movie?

the anime needed over 50 episodes to reach half of the story.

well and now... sadly the story is going to end. maybe like everyone expected but still a great final spurt

And yes, they dared make a movie of nana and there are already 2 film output VO subtitled.

They made two movies. How, I do not know, but they're pretty popular. Of course, the anime did drag it out a bit, I feel.
