    Talking Sketchbook

i don't know how many of you read it... it made me sad since there's no thread for this manga yet...

it's a four panel manga. there's an anime too.
    summary:
the story revolves around a group of high school students who are members of the art club at their school. The plot follows a slice of life style via the students' experiences at school through the club. The main character is a young shy, and quiet girl named Sora Kajiwara who goes through life at her own pace. She tends to look at the little things in life, and is often at awe of the more simpler things. Sora knows several stray cats around her town and has given them names.

i like these 4-panel comedy manga somehow. Sketchbook is like Azumanga Daioh, Mangaka-san to Assistant-san to and Doujin Work.

could you rephrase that please? I donīt get what you want to say.

I like the slice of live genre, and this one is together with Yotsuba&! my favourite comedy slice of life manga.
But I donīt like the Anime adaption that much... seems like a mix of Azumanga Daioh and Aria, which I like both better. (as anime)

Just now Nagisa Kurihara is one of my favourity manga characters.

(Better necro than start a new topic on the exact same thing, I always say.)

Just archive-binged this. Niiiiice. 4koma series are a hard sell for me, but this one manages to hit the sweet spot that Azumanga Daioh did -- only, amazingly, in a static situation not tied to the rhythms of the seasons or the school year. Don't know why I'd been avoiding it, unless maybe I was confusing it with Hidamari Sketch.

Love Sora and the insect otaku. (I could do without Fuu and Ryuu comedy duo, though.)
Today is always the most enjoyable day. Just ask Yotsuba.
