Thread: MxO, Mx0 whatever you want to call it.

I just "finished" reading this really great series, but it ends REALLY abruptly. Does anyone who's read it know if that's the official ending or is there a continuation of the series somewhere?

already have Mx0 thread before, long ago here...the end is wierd because the author stop it, popularity issue...
btw it's Mx0(zero), personally, i spelled it magix zero... just like the card.

Short form: it lost enough popularity in original serialization the publisher canned it, giving the author the usual two-three chapters to wrap things up. Which is, of course, not nearly enough space to make a decent ending.

well if it ever gets animated. Let's all hope for a better ending. ^^

that would be the first time an anime ends in a more convincing way than the original manga.

i'm all with it someone should really make the mx0 anime

I heard that the author will continue the series if another magazine picks it up, or my memory is playing tricks on me.

Almost never happens. It was probably the hopes of deluded fans.

I didn't mind the ending all that much. Granted, I knew it'd been cancelled and had heard horrible things about it... but I didn't think it was too bad. Decent series overall, decent ending, especially for a cancelled series.

Almost the only time something gets picked up by another publisher is when the magazine was cancelled, not the series. I can think of at most a handful that break that pattern, and none are shounen.

T-T I was looking forward to read a continuation of Mx0...there are a few things that bugs me that I want this manga to continue..:
they didn't reveal who was teh third year who knew about teh M0 plate, right?
and there seems to be something going on with teh third year Magic Committee branch [the chapter where after the guy with teh magic hand fought with Kuzumi-a guy in shadow said something like "I'm the boss of the table..."]
another plot that bugs me due to the ending of teh manga is with teh Vice Principle but I guess you can group that with teh third year magic committee...

I mean..they can still pick this manga back up...
having teh third year committee confront Kuzumi while he's at the school under teh direct order of teh Vice Principle or the return of Kuzumi to Seinagi[?]...........and last but not least..teh confrontation between Kuzumi and Higari[?]...:sigh:

[and I apologize if this is consider a bum of a dead thread but I just wanted to put my thought out there...just finished teh manga not too long ago and something didn't seem right for it to end like that]
