And the mangaka is notorious for having shit endings (refer to Suzuka).

Not *seriously* pissed. Just more of a deep "meh" at a series that didn't so much end as just stop (in the middle of the big tournament no less). The story had good potential to go somewhere, but the whole Chris arc was pretty much floundered about for way too long (though getting Dreadlocks Guy to finally show his abilities was nice). I'm not surprised, given that, to see an ending with all the symptoms of sudden cancellation.

atleast Suzuka has an ending. Good or bad is up to the each individual to decide. this one doesn't even have an ending.

I love basketball and this was one of the few mangas about bball after slam dunk that I sorta enjoyed
