Yes, the reason why they most likely don't remember is because they were possessed.
Amongst all the girls, I like Elsie the best. However, if I had to choose only amongst the girls that have been possessed then... it'd be either the librarian, or the kick-ass girl.

mine is kusunoki kasuga.
btw the reason they don't remember are because their memories are wipe away by elsee or by others that gather the deamon..
and the girl are NOT possesed, just like what hakua (also my fave after captain) said they are hidding inside girls and since the deamons are weak their power are used by those girl.....
except the one in chapter 24, the deamon's become so big that it control bunch of girl at the same time.
