Thread: Linebarrels of Iron (Anime)

Am i the only who hates the way the studio and producers changed the plot?? I mean they completely butchered the character and everything i like about it. They managed to make the main character like any other typical mecha shounen main character which he wasn't/isn't in the manga.

No, you're definitely not the only one.
Though I had high hopes for that one. Liked the manga to a certain extent. By this I mean I don't usually like mecha manga and I still liked it - a bit. But they fucked up the plot. Seriously it's just as you said: he's like any other typical mecha shounen main character now. He was far more interesting in the manga. (Practically being an asshole. xD)
Plus... the animation.. it's so disgusting. I may exaggerate a bit, but I don't feel like watching any second more than I already did. Gonzo really did it this time..

maybe i'm just being to generic. but i really hated the manga's plot line. the characters seemed so ridiculous. i liked the first episode of the anime more than the enitre manga. i hope its not just me.

Gonzo's pretty famous for screwing up manga adaptations. Remember how Gantz turned out? ...yea. I didn't have such high hopes for this anime (I loved the manga), and this only serves to prove me right.
