Thread: Toradora

Alrigth, first episode was good. Nothing really original or never-seen-before, but overall its nice. Plus main female characetr looks like Chiaki from Minami-ke, which adds its own lol to the situation.

Wasn't planning to watch it originally, but guess I'll keep watching it.

Better than I expected, honestly, art and voices wise. The guy still looks like whatsisface from Midori Days with different colored hair and I still lol whenever I hear Taiga's voice (Shana ftfl), but overall...a solid 7/10.

Will wait for more lulz when Kaname Chidori makes her debut.

Just nice animation, not too appealing for me. I'm sure Dante would probably want to watch this. The red head looks better imo.

Honestly, the red head reminds me of LOLFANGTAN.

i watched it... got pissed off that taiga sounds so much like Shana (urusai x2 is only one away from urusai x3...). And they totally ripped Tsuruya off. After that, it'd not bad.

Maybe its because i've outgrown them but I don't really like anime/mangas that mostly about Tsundere characters that hits the main character over and over as a running gag. Dunno, i jsut dont find them interesting anymore, you feel like you've seen most of them already and it's basically like you are watching a Re-Run.

I was expecting it but I was still hoping that I was wrong. =_=

anyway regarding the anime. the first episode was a bit slow but it was quite good (I like the wallet part) and then they went and killed it on the second episode. The whole story was moving too quickly skipping most of the best part. I didn't read the novel but I have read the manga and the manga did a perfectly well job on it.

I wanted to see the lunch dance, the flying kick, Taiga's rampage, His very own toilet xD etc.

Just watched episode 10. I really like how this series is turning out. The romance is still rather understated, but it's better that way. Glad to see that Minori actually has a serious side to her, instead of always being the goofball. And Ami is really turning out to be the most interesting character and foil to both leads. You never really know what she's going to do next, or what her true feelings are.

In fact, Kitamura's turning out to be the most bland of the five characters now.
