Thread: The Stongest in history.. but he;s only the disciple

I wanted to know how many people out there read and enjoy "History's Strongest Disciple: Kenichi"? Its a really good manga, my opinion, and apparently its growing stronger.

Its been out for a while now but i guess no one took the time to translate it cause it prob wasnt popular enough. But for like the past month or so ive realized that theres been more and more chaps coming out. I wanted to get a forum started in the Manga section. It has promise. Good artwork and solid story line. No plot holes and shit.

I love that series. I would dare to say it has better Martial Arts moments than Baki.

Thanx 4 the info hench, i put it here cause i wanted to get some feedback. I would ultimately like it to be one of the manga up for discussion. Like where naruto and stuff is.

I love this series. Watched the anime and got hooked. I can't read Japanese, so was a little pissed off that the manga had gone so far, but not been scantilated. I'm really cheeful that it's been picked up. Seems that there are there quite a few groups working on it now - RyColaa, FH, Silvermask, Yuisaki, Shy Guy - so the chapters are coming out at speed.

Anyways, it's an excellent series.

I have to agree with everybody, this sewries is absolutely awesome. My onmly problem is how fucked up the chapters are released. I mean We already have 200+ but we havent even completed the previous chapters. I hope they fix that.

HAHAH you mean Olivia doing the ball crap? Seriously that was so corny and disturbing. I agree that this manga needs its own forums since unlike other mangas its currently being updated more regularly than the others. The characters are all unique and what's more interesting is the blend of Marshall Arts, rhythm and personality being mixed in Kenichi. It's really exciting to watch him develop. Unlike that Baki the bastard, where he just suddenly becomes uber strong and the moves are unbelievable and unexplainable except for the Karate guy who actually explains his style to his opponents before fighting which I think was stupid.

One manga has the whole series that has been updated.

What? Baki or Kenichi xD cause I think both aren't exactly finished in one manga yet. By the way now I know why I feel awkward every time I see your sig xD It's because I've seen it before in another forum called blog.seiha.org ^^ don't mind me though I just noticed.

BLASPHEMY!!! History's strongest disciple is better than BAKI?? are you out of your mind? BAKI is much more interesting. HSD is an ok a little manga but lets not get carried away. It's not better than BAKI. There are mangas that are better martial arts manga than BAKI but HSD is not one of them.
