Obviously I find that ironic. Was there not something else being done in the ef series? Like... ef - the another tale or something like that? I remember seeing huge posters in Akihabara. Might be misremembering, though.

^ Do you mean "Ef: A Fairy Tale of the Two"? Iīve heard so many titles of that story and itīs adaptions (really like the anime/manga)

The series is called Ef - A Fairy Tale of the Two. (I used that name in all of my previous Ef sigs in case you didn't notice)
The first game is called Ef - The First Tale.
The second game is called Ef - The Latter Tale.
The first season of the anime is called Ef - A Tale of Memories.
The second season of the anime is called Ef - A Tale of Melodies.
