Summery:Nagasawa Shiina was just your average 3rd year high schooler when her parents' company went bankrupt. In order to pay the bills, her family sells her into prostitution. At her first job, a mysterious masked man crashes the party...and it's someone she knows...

Akumetsu is the story of Hazama Shou, who defends his own view of justice in a vigilante manner while wearing a mask and calling himself Akumetsu.

FREAKING GREAT!!! The next best manga out there. One of the best anyway. It deals heavily on politics with an anti....err hero that goes around killing evil people like batman...with killing. Involves intrigue, EPIC plot, aswome main character and his powers are aswome!! An amazing read, highly recommend it.

i guess he and his doppelgangers just exsist symbolically to portray a fullflegded revolution with the codex "one life for another" so they cannot be called terrorists. therefore i dont think the author intents to explain his powers and we just have to take the manga symbolically

Akumetsu is the bad kind of ridiculous nonsense. "The economy is doing pretty badly at the moment... I'll shoot the ministers!" "Those biker gangs are causing a bit of trouble... I'll shoot the police!"
And it's pretty lame that he just happens to have near-invincible super powers for some reason.

I have to agree that Akumetsu isn't the best manga around and it's not even close to other great mangas but I don't think it deserved those words. I find this manga quite unique and very liberal. It's quite brave if we assume that the author/s are doing this manga symbolically.
