    "bollucks aimed at ronery"

Would teh context of this conclusion change if I use the term "rocky mountain oysters full of whininess"?

Damn, I saw the trailers of this two months ago, but couldn't remember. Looks sweet.
Btw, I still have to dl. Have to check it weekends but is there a manga based?
Can't find at baka (well there are some with similar names).

saying it that clearly, i still can't answer the question.

Yoshiuras other works even got dubbed by german companies, considerering there're no that much otaku in germany, i doubt they make money with dubbing them if they are amied at otaku. (or maybe i dont estimate correctly how much otaku there really are)

but i also would not say that normal people would watch them, not only cuz his work and especially this webisode are barley known but also cuz the topic is not that interesting for normal people. i could imagine two or three otaku discussing this anime in some dark corner.

well, all in all, i dont know, just see for yourself. the first episode is 15 min long. try it and analyze for which kind of people its made for, or don't. i don't really care.
as long as something is good, i'm not interested whom its amied for.

no i guess it's not based on a manga, but the author took some ideas from I Robot. (just no action this time^^)

Nice book by Asimov. The "I Robot" idea was already used in many manga titles (Chobits), though Osamu Tezuka (Astroboy) claims that story for himself. Whatever. this seems to be much more of a new on in the tradition of depressing romance stories. I will post my impressions when I finally saw the stuff.

So, armed with this new knowledge in hand, are you in a better position to answer my question?
It's leaning towards it, very very close. Unless they go towards a philosophical/moral direction, then yup.

I just thought it was animated pretty nice. but it's not that interesting to me and sorta reminds me of that one movie with Will Smith, I-Robot?

yeah, it seems like it is somewhat loosely based off of that but the robots aren't going to attack people...yet

I just saw the artwork and it's very beautiful. So much like Pale Cocoon, if the story is half as interesting as Pale Cocoon, it'd be a masterpiece. I'm downloading it right now.

Possible spoilers, but only on message and theme, rather than the literal story.

Just saw the first episode and I'll have to say that it has got some interesting ideas in motion, but, undoubtedly, it has taken many ideas from Asimov's novels on robots. That might not be a bad thing, though, since almost all good stories on the subject have taken many ideas from him and even the three robot laws are considered important when creating artificial intelligence.

The theme of the anime, and this might be somewhat of a spoiler, is that, when androids have been created with word processing and syntax to the level of a human, would there be any reason to distinguish between the two in terms of master-slave? The example given at the end of the episode would imply that there are no reasons to do that, since saying that an android looks like a man, you could also say that a man looks like an android.

It's an old philosophical dilemma as to what a human is, and what an artificial intelligence would be, and how to differantiate between these two when the only real difference is the method to which they attain conscious thinking. I look forward to see how Eve no Jikan will tackle this problem, but as of yet nothing ground-breakingly new has been presented.

Alright so after actually seriously watching it and not just leaving it on to play, I'm willing to bet that it'll pretty much end up like the Robin Williams movie Bicentennial Man. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0182789/
