Slice-of-life harem romantic comedy with heavy fanservice? Try the Amaenaide yo! anime series. *slaps forehead* (I can't believe I'm actually recommending this...) Six miko girls in training, each related to one of the Realms (Heaven, Demon, Animal, Hungry Ghost, etc.), and one perverted novice priest. They get sent out on missions to exorcise demons and ghosts, but apparently only the guy has enough spiritual power to exorcise the stronger ones. Unfortunately, the only way he can tap his power is by seeing naked girls.

Oy. That sounds dumb enough it's possible the execution wraps it beyond wretched and into fun in a big-dumb-echhi sort of way.

Though the odds are on it just being wretched. I'll check it out.

Don't bother I just about managed to suffer through the first series, I gave up on episode 2 of the second.

Pity it doesn't look like the manga's ever been scanned.

I've never read GTO but I preferred Gokusen to Kamen Teacher (by far) so I'll assume the same here.

Well, it started as a series thread and has kinda drifted into "things like" recs. If someone actually talks about the series itself, it'll get back on the original track.

So, ending: lame or satisfying?

^neither lame nor satisfying...i prefer disappointing, i always hope that in the end taiga become the most feared Seinagi school teacher who actually can't use any magic....

^I agree but I was leaning more on an ending where he achieves a different gold card. Kinda like a different level up. As the normal cards go up in the metal value. Mo follows a different route and at the end of it is the "Mx0" card.

I've always expected the absorption ability and hoping the other Magic Manipulation ability will be introduce later as an extra ability for the Mo card (or the next level of Mo).

^magic manipulation??? if you mean like the mo shield type then i too hoping for that... kind of like the magic monster thingy that the senior use for fight but this time it's made of mo...
aahh mo, a formidable opponent for magic... reminds me of asuna's magic cancel ability.
